Mrs. Amy Downing, RN, is the nurse for district students. The nurse cares for student injuries, illnesses, and dispenses medication when needed; she also performs screenings for vision and hearing, keeps health records, and immunization records up to date for all the district students, and advises the administration on potential health concerns that may need to be addressed. Nursing service is a valuable support program for all schools and is an integral component in helping to keep our students and staff populations healthy.
