Upcoming Deadlines
12/13/24 FALL Finals Forms Fall Final Schedules are OUT - Paper copies can be found on the table outside the office. The first page is yours to keep so you remember where you need to go and when. The second page is the page that needs to be turned in to the office. EVERY STUDENT NEEDS TO TURN IN A PAPER.
Reminder - students may waive 1 final if they have no unexcused absences AND no discipline referrals.
12/20/24 Senior Pictures! Please submit your HEADSHOT senior pictures to Mrs. Post. Due to quality issues, do not submit photos that have been screenshotted or downloaded from social media pages. Email them to kpost@bismarck.k12.il.us. Deadline is December 20th.
Announcements
There will be a brief musical meeting during advisory period on Friday in the cafeteria. Please check in with your advisory teacher and then report to the cafeteria if you are interested in playing a role in the musical. You do not need to come to the meeting if you are planning to be a member of set/stage crew.
Musical auditions will be on Monday, December 16th and will begin at the start of advisory period. Anyone who rides the bus will audition first so that they can still catch their ride home and then the rest will follow. Auditions will go until we have seen everyone, so please be sure to arrange a ride home if you think you will need one. Please see Mrs. Post by Friday before you leave for the weekend if you are planning to audition!

There will be an informational girls track and field meeting in the team room during Wednesday's (12/11) Advisory Period...this meeting will discuss January and February training days and official start of practice days. We would love to see some new faces as well...looking forward to another great season! Coach Susan Kentner
Art club will be doing a bake sale during high school lunches on 12/16 & 12/17. All items are $1, and the proceeds will benefit the art club. Bring your money to lunch and enjoy a yummy holiday treat!
Art club will be selling Coffee, Donuts and Hot Cocoa to kick off fall finals right on Wednesday 12/18! Come see us in the commons area outside the front office that morning anytime between the start of your day and 8:08am. All items will be $1 and there will be yummy creamers available to make your coffee taste just right!
Students - are you interested in becoming a teacher? Mr. Campbell will be in the Commons area on Friday January 13th at 7:45 with information and resources to help start your path to a career in education.
FAFSA Completion Night: There is a county wide FAFSA Completion Night on Wednesday January 15th starting at 5:30 PM. It will be held in the cafeteria at Armstrong Township High School.

New DACC Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program - Application
For students interested in construction, or any of the other trades: Program Information
Free for students, they get paid $14.50 to attend the program!
Next cohort will start in January (after that, August)
Students are required to interview, the sooner they fill out the application the better!
Students must be 18 with a high school diploma to participate.

The styluses for the new Chromebooks have increased in price and are a $43 cost to the school. This means if you need to purchase a replacement, it will be $43. Charger replacements are still $35. Styluses are here!
Reminder! If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know. Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent. You must call each day your student is absent. (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).
