Announcements:

  • Saturday is Patriot Day at BHRA.  Let’s show our patriotic pride on Friday.  Wear your red, white and blue!

  • Thursday & Friday’s lunch menu are switched.  Thursday will be Pizza, Breadstick, Apple Slices, Milk and Friday will be Ham Sandwich, Pasta Salad, Mixed Fruit, Oatmeal Cream Pie, Milk.

  • Congratulations to our 2021-22 Senior class officers - President: Ethan Tutwiler, Vice President: Keely Applegate, Treasurer: KJ Brown, Secretary: Eliza Knipe

  • Seniors – DACC College Fair is September 16th. Respond to the google form Mrs. Stephens sent out to sign up. If you attend DACC in the afternoon and plan to drive to the college fair you will need to get a permission slip from Mrs. Stephens.

  • JV & Varsity Golf Bus leaves at 2:00pm today.  Please dismiss golfers at 1:40pm.

  • Homecoming court members meet in Mrs. Russell’s room for Advisory after you check in with your teacher.  If you cannot come to the meeting, see Mrs. Russell sometime today or tomorrow to pick up your information.

  • Congratulations to the Class of 2023 Class Officers:  President Natalie Clapp, Vice President Owen Miller, Secretary Audrey Taylor, and Treasurer Josh "Bill" Gernand.

  • Cross Country has Blue Devil apparel on sale now!  Click this link to order yours today! 

  • Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13th, beginning at 8:20 am. The cost of the exam is $18. To sign up for the exam, please bring payment to Mrs. Stephens by Friday, September 10th.

  • Sophomores, if you would like to order a class t-shirt for Homecoming week they are $10. Complete the form emailed to you and bring your $10 to Mrs. Stephens or Mrs. Carpenter. Money is due Friday so we can get the shirts ordered.

  • Pfizer Vaccine Clinic at BHRA Wilcox Lobby from 7:30am-9:30am.  First dose 9/14, 2nd dose 10/5.  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  No appointment necessary.  Any person under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive the vaccine.  See flier here.

  • Monday, September 20th, Senior Class Meeting @ 8:00am in the Wilcox Lobby.  Jessica from Jostens will be here to go over Senior announcements, Caps & Gowns, etc.  She will return on September 28th to pick those orders up.

  • Monday, September 20th, Sophomore Class Meeting during advisory period - Jessica from Jostens will be here to go over Class rings and letterman jacket information.  Meet in the Wilcox Lobby.  She will return September 28th during your lunch hours to pick orders up.

  • Picture Day retakes are scheduled for 10/18/21.  Order your pictures online at https://inter-state.com/FlyerEntry.  BHRA’s Order Code is 59137WF.

Information:

  • Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause.  If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.
