Announcements:

  • Homecoming Court Members:  Mrs. Russell needs your shirt sizes ASAP - Which means today!

  • Student Council meeting today in the MPR for all student council members during the advisory period.

  • Wednesday is our Senior Night for Golf.  Come on out and celebrate Golf Senior Nick Garmon.  Turtle Run - Meet time at 4pm.

  • Blue Devils Golf cruised to victory in a triangular match with Salt Fork & Westville Monday at Turtle Run with a team score of 185. Salt Fork - 215 & Westville - 247.  Blue Devils team scores: Nick Garmon (44 - medalist honors), Leighton Meeker (45), Jordan Johnson (47), Ayden Golden (49), Cooper Carpenter (56), Colin Deck (59).

  • See You at the Pole is next Wednesday, Sept 22nd @ 7:30 am in front of the school.

  • Patriot Day at BHRA has been rescheduled for next Saturday, 9/18.  Gates open at 11:30am - Kickoff at 1pm vs. Momence.  If you missed out on ordering a shirt, you have one last chance.  Shirts can be ordered here through Monday at 11:59pm.  Delivery will be the first full week of October.  We have a few ‘extra’ shirts for sale in the office, first come first serve.

  • Student Council is seeking parade entries for this year’s Homecoming celebration.  The parade will begin at 5pm on Friday, October 1st.  Contact Kami Russell if you would like to be a part of the celebration.

  • YES!  You can bring dates to Homecoming that do not go to BHRA.  They must at least be in high school, but cannot be older than 20. If you are bringing a date that doesn’t go here, you must have the date request form filled out and turned in by Monday, 9/27.  You can find the form here: https://5il.co/yt4c.  There are paper forms on the table outside the office.

  • If you are a freshman that came from Bismarck and purchased a yearbook, they are in.  You can stop by the BHJH office to pick yours up.  They do have some extras for sale for $15/ea.

  • The volleyball team has opened up a fancloth website! Here is the link to check it out: https://fancloth.shop/KLLYE There is something for everyone. The shop closes on 9/23 @ midnight!

  • Seniors – Today is the LAST DAY to sign-up for the DACC College Fair on September 16th. Respond to the google form Mrs. Stephens sent out to sign up. If you attend DACC in the afternoon and plan to drive to the college fair you will need to get a permission slip from Mrs. Stephens.

  • If anyone is interested in community service, please see Mr. Beukelman.  There are a handful of opportunities available here in Bismarck over the next few weeks, and our local organizations could use our help!  If you are already on the Key Club mailing list, please be sure to check the Key Club Google Classroom to sign up for events.  Thank you.

  • Juniors --- PowderPuff t-shirt order forms were emailed to everyone.  If you are interested in ordering a shirt, please fill out the Google Form attached to that email.  All orders need to be finalized by 2:30pm on Monday, 13September2021.

  • Pfizer Vaccine Clinic at BHRA Wilcox Lobby from 7:30am-9:30am.  First dose, TOMORROW, 9/14,, 2nd dose 10/5.  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  No appointment necessary.  Any person under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive the vaccine.  See flier here.

  • Monday, September 20th, Senior Class Meeting @ 8:00am in the Wilcox Lobby.  Jessica from Jostens will be here to go over Senior announcements, Caps & Gowns, etc.  She will return on September 28th to pick those orders up.

  • Monday, September 20th, Sophomore Class Meeting during advisory period - Jessica from Jostens will be here to go over Class rings and letterman jacket information.  Meet in the Wilcox Lobby.  She will return September 28th during your lunch hours to pick orders up.

  • Picture Day retakes are scheduled for 10/18/21.  Order your pictures online at https://inter-state.com/FlyerEntry.  BHRA’s Order Code is 59137WF.

Additional Information:

  • Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause.  If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.

  • We have extra Chromebook styluses and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

  • Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13th, beginning at 8:20 am.

  • Junior/Senior College visits - be sure to check in with your advisory period teacher before attending.  Unless otherwise noted, all college visits are held in the counseling lobby.
