Announcements:

  • It’s progress report time!  BHRA does not send out progress reports - you can access your students' grades through TeacherEase.  If you need a copy mailed to you or a list of missing work, please feel free to email Jenny at any time throughout the school year.

  • WIXY School Showdown!  Please vote daily for BHRA!  This week we are against Heritage (and as of right now, they are ahead).  Please vote daily!  Thank you!  WIXY SCHOOL SHOWDOWN VOTE 

  • Congratulations to the volleyball team for their win over Iroquois West last night! Great Job, Ladies!

  • BHRA soccer fell to Georgetown/Westville 4-2 last night.  BHRA had a goal from Hayden Rice followed up by a goal from Liam Oxendine assisted by Evan Cole. Garrett Huls ended the game with 7 saves in goal.

  • Blue Devil golf finished 3rd overall with a score of 397. Individual scores were Leighton Meeker (98), Nick Garmon (99), Cooper Carpenter (99), Tyson Smith (101), Colin Deck (111), & Jordan Johnson (116). Blue Devils’ next match is Regionals on September 29th @ Turtle Run.

  • Any students who have borrowed a chromebook from the library needs to return them by this Friday at 2.

  • Students,  Sign up to participate in the homecoming games during advisory next week.  We need teams of boys and girls to play each game.  Games include Hungry, Hungry Hippo, Tug of War, and Walk the Plank.  Sign up with your Class Sponsor to play.

  • Tickets for the homecoming dance are on sale during lunch.  Tickets are $10. Court members need to pick up a ticket, but your ticket is free.

  • Student Council is seeking parade entries for this year’s Homecoming celebration.  The parade will begin at 5pm on Friday, October 1st.  Contact Kami Russell if you would like to be a part of the celebration.

  • YES!  You can bring dates to Homecoming that do not go to BHRA.  They must at least be in high school, but cannot be older than 20. If you are bringing a date that doesn’t go here, you must have the date request form filled out and turned in by Monday, 9/27.  You can find the form here: https://5il.co/yt4c.  There are paper forms on the table outside the office. Don’t forget to turn in a copy of their id and have their school principal sign it if they are still in high school.

  • Picture Day retakes are scheduled for 10/18/21.  Order your pictures online at https://inter-state.com/FlyerEntry.  BHRA’s Order Code is 59137WF.

  • Dress Up: Oregon Trail vs Space Cowboy - Wear a blast from the past or show us a peek at future style.

Additional Information:

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).  You need to call us each day they are out.

  • Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause.  If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.

  • We have extra Chromebook styluses and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

Community Service Opportunities

  • If anyone is interested in community service, please see Mr. Beukelman.  There are a handful of opportunities available here in Bismarck over the next few weeks, and our local organizations could use our help!  If you are already on the Key Club mailing list, please be sure to check the Key Club Google Classroom to sign up for events.  Thank you.
