Announcements:

  • Sophomores - Thank you to all who came to help with another great night of float building last night.  We’ll be building until 7pm tonight -- see you there!

  • Sophomores - great job at float building last night!  See you all again at 2:30pm.

  • Covid Vaccination Clinic: 10/5 from 7:30-9:30 AM  This clinic is for people who rec’d their first vaccination at our clinic on Sep 14. The Johnson & Johnson single shot vaccination will also be available at this clinic  for those who would like to be vaccinated with a single injection. No appointment is needed. Everyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. This clinic is open to everyone in our community ages 12 and older.

  • Tickets for the homecoming dance are on sale during lunch.  Tickets are $10. Court members need to pick up a ticket, but your ticket is free.  Last day to get your ticket is Thursday.

  • Student Council is seeking parade entries for this year’s Homecoming celebration.  The parade will begin at 5pm on Friday, October 1st.  Contact Kami Russell if you would like to be a part of the celebration.

  • Picture Day retakes are scheduled for 10/18/21.  Order your pictures online at https://inter-state.com/FlyerEntry.  BHRA’s Order Code is 59137WF.

  • Color vs Color - Freshmen: Gray, Sophomores: Green, Juniors: Orange, Seniors: Black

  • Advisory Period: Tug of War

  • Soccer @ Decatur - 4:30pm

  • Golf Regionals @ Turtle Run - TBA

  • Powder Puff @ 7pm

  • Float Building - 2:30pm-7:00pm

  • Hotdogs during float building provided by Jeff Simpson

  • Thursday

  • Country vs Country Club - Jeans and boots vs khakis & polos.  Are you preppy or a good ole boy?

  • Advisory Period: Homecoming Court Introduction & Voting

  • Soccer vs Covington - 4:30pm

  • Volleyball @ Watseka - 6:00pm

  • Pep Rally / Bonfire - 8:30pm

  • Float Building - 2:30pm-8:30pm

Additional Information:

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).  You need to call us each day they are out.

  • Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause.  If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.

  • We have extra Chromebook styluses and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

  • Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13th, beginning at 8:20 am.

Community Service Opportunities

  • If anyone is interested in community service, please see Mr. Beukelman.  There are a handful of opportunities available here in Bismarck over the next few weeks, and our local organizations could use our help!  If you are already on the Key Club mailing list, please be sure to check the Key Club Google Classroom to sign up for events.  Thank you.
