Tonight! Soccer at 6pm vs Schlarman! It’s SENIOR NIGHT & DSA Night! Sandwiches, chips, cookies & drinks will be available. There will be a halftime contest for our high school crowd and a halftime contest for the DSA kids. Let’s pack the place for our Blue Devil Soccer team!!
Any girl planning on trying out for the girls basketball team needs to attend the meeting during advisory period on Thursday, 10/7. If you can not attend, please contact Coach Stephens at 217-304-7416
Congratulations to the October student of the Month Eliza Knipe. Eliza you were elected because of your excitement and spirit for BHRA and the example you are setting for your peers. Jenna Dishman, Rylee Merrill, and Trent Kruse were also nominated this month.
FCA will be meeting Tuesday October 5th during Advisory.
Class of 2024—We had a wonderful week of float building and we hope you did, too. We couldn’t have done it without your hard work, positivity, and creativity! A huge thanks goes out to the Sophomore class parents for the donations of food, supplies, time, and talents. We are so amazed with how everything came together and are looking forward to next year!

Class of 2023 --- To the students who participated in constructing the Class of 2023 Junior Float, thank you for all of your work, sweat, and dedication this year! It is greatly appreciated. To those students unable to help, know that your classmates did a wonderful job. Just as important, thank you to our amazingly supportive parents/guardians; nobody went hungry or thirsty, and our float's engineering is beyond all expectations! We'll do what we can to keep our motor running!!! (hehe) Both Mrs. Gray and Mr. Beukelman appreciate all of the generosity and sweat equity that went into this endeavor from everyone that helped and donated time, food, drinks, and materials throughout this past Homecoming week. Thank you!!!
Covid Vaccination Clinic: 10/5 from 7:30-9:30 AM in the Wilcox Lobby. This clinic is for people who received their first vaccination at our clinic on Sep 14. The Johnson & Johnson single shot vaccination will also be available at this clinic for those who would like to be vaccinated with a single injection. No appointment is needed. Everyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. This clinic is open to everyone in our community ages 12 and older.

Reminder! If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know. Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent. (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian). You need to call us each day they are out.
Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms: Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause. If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.
We have extra Chromebook styluses and chargers for sale in the office. Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.
Athletic Passes on sale now. Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household). Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13th, beginning at 8:20 am.
