Announcements:

Due to a supplier shortage, today’s lunch will be chicken nuggets, corn, pineapple, and a strawberry cookie. Tomorrow’s lunch will also be changing, but is unavailable at this time.
If you signed up to take the PSAT/NMSQT please be in the Team Room tomorrow, Wednesday the 13th by 8:10 AM. Bring 2 #2 pencils and a calculator.
Good luck to the Cross Country Team at the VVC Tournament at Kickapoo tonight at 4:30pm!
Great job to the JV Volleyball team at the Rantoul tournament this weekend. They went 2-2 and had some really tough matches! Tonight, the volleyball team takes on Milford at home. JV starts @ 6 and Varsity will follow.
An Admissions Representative from EIU will be here today during Advisory Period in Wilcox Lobby.
Boys basketball shoe fitting - Friday 10/15 during advisory period. If you’re playing boys basketball this year you need to attend.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are Wed 10/20 & Thurs 10/21 from 4pm-8pm. Appointments are required. Please sign-up using https://ptc1536850752.ptcwizard.com/parent/. If you have any problems, please let Jenny know.

Reminder! If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know. Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent. (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian). You need to call us each day they are out.
Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms: Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause. If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.
We have extra Chromebook styluses and chargers for sale in the office. Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.
Athletic Passes on sale now. Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household). Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

Western Illinois University will be waiving their application fee for the month of October. Students can apply online www.wiu.edu/apply
Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13th, beginning at 8:20 am.
