Announcements:

  • Friday’s Spirit Dress Day: Top Hats & Tiaras!  Show us your most impressive style!

  • There will be a Boys Basketball meeting and open gym this Thursday night from 6:45-8:30 for anyone interested in trying out for this year's basketball team.  Important information will be handed out at this meeting that will need to be reviewed and signed by parents prior to the 1st practice on Monday, November 8th.  Varsity football players will have a later meeting at the completion of their football season. 

  • Juniors: If you signed up to be on the prom committee, please come to Mrs. Gray's room during advisory period on Thursday.

  • Santa Blue Devil shirts on sale now!  All orders and money due to the BHRA office by November 11th.  Don’t miss out on your opportunity to order.  Printable order form: https://5il.co/11b9z

  • Congratulations Brooklyn Klett you are the November student of the month!  You were nominated because of your helpfulness.  Other nominees this month were: Amber Reed, Hannah Smith, Arianna Rogers, Cooper Carpenter, Morgan Potter, and Olivia Falk.

  • Good Luck to Eli Mojonnier & Gabby Moreman in the Cross Country State Competition on Saturday!

  • Round 2 Playoffs - BHRA vs Nashville Hornets.  Game is Saturday 11/6.  Kickoff at 1pm / Gates open at 11am.  There are no passes allowed for this game - everyone pays $6.

    • BHRA Students!  Bring your student id to show at the gate and Mr. Rademacher will pay your way in!

  • Playoff Poster Contest -- Create your poster cheering on the Blue Devils and turn it into the office by Thursday at the end of day!  Prize awarded for the best poster!

  • The student council is hosting the annual food drive to make food baskets for local families in need.  Bring your food donations to your 1st hour class to participate.  You will receive one ticket for each item donated to be put in a drawing for prizes. Additionally, the 1st hour class with the most donated items will receive donuts and juice for breakfast.  The food drive goes through Friday, November 12.

  • BHCUSD is having a Veterans Parade on November 11th, starting at 1:30pm.  All veterans are invited to participate by riding in their own golf cart or vehicle.  Please sign-up at the information listed on the flyer so we can make a poster with your name and branch of service for the parade.  Parade of Veterans Flyer  Registration has been extended to November 5th.

  • Wrestling apparel is on sale now!  Orders are due Friday night 11/12 @ 11:59pm.

Community Service Opportunities

Additional Information:

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).  You need to call us each day they are out.

  • Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause.  If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.

  • Chromebook cases, styluses, and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.  Cases are $20 new and $10 used.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.
