National Honor Society applications are due by Friday! Turn your application in to Ms. Mathis in room 712.
Congratulations to the Scholastic Bowl team! They beat Armstrong-Potomac and Georgetown-Ridge Farm last night.
FAN BUS available for BHRA students to go cheer on your Blue Devils at Regionals - BHRA plays Unity AT Unity at 7:30pm on Wednesday. The fan bus will leave BHRA at 5:45. Mr. Rademacher will pay for all students that ride the fan bus to get in the game. A parent/guardian must call the office and give the student permission to ride the bus.
FREE FOOD FRIDAY Winners: Murphy McCool, DJ Cartright, Alyssa Reifsteck, Xander Gillespie, and Alexis Gerdes. See Mrs. Gray by Thursday to put your order in!
DACC Placement testing has been moved from this Thursday to next Tuesday, March 1st.
Math Contest is this Saturday! We will start at 9. Come a little early and bring some breakfast treats to share. Mr. Rademacher is bringing Monicals for lunch. See Mrs. Gray if you have any questions.
It’s National FFA Week!

**For anything but a bookbag day - remember to keep it reasonable. Items must be school appropriate and be able to be easily maneuvered throughout the school. If you have any questions on whether an item is acceptable, see Mrs. DeGolyer, Mr. Benjamin, or Mr. Rademacher. We reserve the right to refuse items for that dress up day!**

The Spanish Club is still selling Candy Grams. They can be purchased from any Spanish Club officer, or in 6th hour lunch from Layla or Keeley. Also, they can stop by Senora Frerichs classroom anytime to purchase one.
Softball Tryouts begin Monday 2/28/22 @ 5:00 pm in the Wilcox Gym.
Yearbooks are on sale now! You can send cash/check to Mrs. Stephens for $60 or order online HERE.
Don’t forget to turn in your senior pictures! Those are due to Mrs. Stephens March 11th. You can bring one in to her or email it to her at mstephens@bismarck.k12.il.us.

When testing to return to school, only PCR tests are accepted. Rapid (antigen tests) are not valid.

**Updated Quarantine Guidelines as of 1/7/22** - The Illinois State Board of Education has adopted the new CDC guideline for positive COVID-19 cases. The number of days a positive case must remain in isolation has been reduced from 10 days to 5 days.
For free home COVID tests go to www.covidtests.gov The tests are expected to ship at the end of January. 1 set of 4-tests per address.

Reminder! If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know. Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent. (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian). You need to call us each day they are out.
Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms: Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause. If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.
Chromebook cases, styluses, and chargers for sale in the office. Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25. Cases are $20 new and $10 used.
Athletic Passes on sale now. Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household). Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

Weekly Updates for Juniors & Seniors
The DACC Foundation Scholarship application is now open and will close March 7th. Seniors will be meeting with Mrs. Tonya Hill from the foundation next Thursday the 13th to receive instructions for completing the application. Juniors who plan to take dual enrollment courses AT DACC next year (not at BHRA - Rhet, Calc, Western Civ where tuition is waived) or plan to graduate early and attend DACC in the spring of 2023 should also complete the application.
