Bella has been on time each day with all of her assignments and projects completed. She pays attention to detail and enjoys challenges. Bella is also a very creative writer and is always willing to share her work with the class. We are proud of your hard work and how you handle responsibility, Bella!
BHJH 5th Grade McDonald's Student of the Month is Baylor Heidrick.
Baylor is always prepared for all his classes. He participates willingly in class, is kind to all of his classmates, and is a very helpful student. Baylor also turns in his work on time. Way to be a role model, Baylor!

9/29 Blue Hour is the First Blue Devils Bragging Rights Relay Competition! The grade levels are asked to wear a specific color (5th-Green 6th- Blue 7th- Red 8th- Black). Students will watch a video today explaining and showing the different relays for Friday. Have fun and good luck!!
Food Drive starts this week! Students are put in a raffle for Amazon Gift Cards and Small Town Famous Gift Cards. Thanks in advance for the donations for the local food pantry and Bismarck Blessings.
Camp Invention discounts for next year are starting already! We don't have a definite date for Summer 2024 yet, but if you sign up by 9/30 using the code CAMP2024, you can save $50 off the cost of a week of high energy STEM fun . Camp is open to incoming 1st-6th graders. See you there!

Attn Youth Sports Parents: For the homecoming parade on Friday, please drop off all youth sports participants (cheer, football & soccer) at the Methodist Church on Chicago St. They can enter the park behind the church, their parade vehicles will be waiting in the parade lineup.

Danville Area Community College is bringing Family Science Night back this fall!
Have you ever wondered why hot air balloons float and submarines sink? How about investigating what makes a light bulb light or how to make slime? Do you know how much you weigh on Jupiter, Saturn, or Mars? Come to Family Science Night at DACC to find out the answers to these questions and many more. Through over 50 hands-on science activities, you and your family will explore these topics and learn about how science is all around us.

BHJH 8th Grade McDonald's Student of the Month is Amelia Cole.
Amelia is always very polite when speaking with staff. She works hard and asks questions when she needs clarification. She is respectful both in and out of class. She uses her time wisely in class, and she reads or works on homework if she has free time. When she is going to be absent, she asks about her work ahead of time. She is a great critical thinker, and she take great notes.
BHJH 7th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Tristyn Henderson.
Tristyn takes initiative to get her work made up if she is absent. She reaches out through email if she has questions about the work while she is absent. She is always polite, and she respectfully advocates for her needs.
