
2/20/23 - This week's 6th Grade Eagle Attitude Winner is Daniel Mims.
Daniel is an excellent student. He has been working so hard to get all his work turned in on time. Daniel is very helpful in the classroom and often the one who stays back and cleans up or puts all the chairs up, most are done without even being asked! He is very thoughtful. Daniel has excellent artistic abilities and he shared his art with me often. Keep working hard Daniel!


2/20/23 - This week's 5th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Charlie Warren.
Charlie has been a fantastic student to have! He completes all his work neatly, on time, and exceptionally. He is willing to help classmates and teachers with everyday tasks. He is polite and friends with everyone. Charlie participates in class and has an awesome sense of humor. Awesome job, Charlie!


6th Grade students wrote business letters in proper format and sent them to area businesses. So far we've received 3 letters back, Hair Express, The Local Farmhouse, and Bott's Locksmith! The students are so excited to receive mail.


2/13/23 - This week's 8th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Gavin Faulkner.
Gavin has always been one of my best helpers picking up equipment at the end of the day in P.E. class. I appreciate all of your help!


2/13/23 - This week's 7th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Max Carley.
Max has been very helpful during P.E., helping take down and fold the pickleball nets. I appreciate his help. Thanks, Max!


2/13/23 - This week's 5th Grade Eagle Excellent Attitude winner is Brielle Powell.
Brielle always works hard and does her best! She is very attentive and meets all deadlines. These qualities are reflected in her grades. Brielle’s work is extremely neat, and she is really artistic! We can always count on her to use her time wisely and get the most out of her school day. Your teachers are proud of you Brielle!


2/13/23 - This week's 5th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Kylee Bray.
Kylee is the fifth-grade student of the week! Kylee does a great job of turning her work in on time and always comes to class prepared. She is always smiling, and her kind personality is noticed in the classroom. She is always the first student to volunteer to help me with whatever I need around the classroom. Great job, Kylee!


2/06/23 - This week's 8th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Hannah Evans .
Hannah is a brilliant student that I can always count on to have correct answers in class. She does such a good job following along with whatever topic we are covering, and very rarely even has questions. Her organization, work ethic, and intelligence all work hand in hand in making her an amazing student. Great job, Hannah!


2/06/23 - This week's 7th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Chance Mitchell.
Chance is a very kind, hard-working, and intelligent kid. I enjoy having him in class because he’s a student that I can really depend on for participation and helping peers. Whenever we break off into groups, you can be assured that students want to be part of Chance’s group. Keep up the great work, Chance!


2/0623 - This week's 6th Grade Eagle Attitude Winner is Kale Kitchens.
Kale is a great student! He is committed to his schoolwork, always completes his assignments on time, and participates in all classroom discussions. He is making great strides this year! Keep working hard ! It is great having you in class !


2/6/23 - This week's 5th Grade Eagle Attitude winner is Brently Brown.
Brently has done a great job turning in work on time and trying his best in whatever he does. Brently has a sweet spirit and is a joy to be around. Keep up the great work Brently!


BHJH Students are invited to wear a hat on Thursday for a $1 donation to help 'Put a Cap on Cancer'. All donations will be added to BHRA's Cancer Night donation to OSF Danville Cancer Center.

1/30/23 - Our 8th Grade Eagle Attitude winner this week is Landen Packard.
Landen is a great student who has been very helpful in and out of the classroom. He stays on top of every single detail and if there are any questions to be asked, he makes sure to ask them. He is a hard worker, shows great personal responsibility, and always is respectful and helpful to anyone. Keep up the great work Landen !!


1/30/23 - Our 7th Grade Eagle Attitude Winner Braxton Schmit. Braxton has been working hard and it shows. Braxton is always focused and interactive during class. He is helpful and respectful to the staff and students. Any time I am needing help with something Braxton is always willing to offer up assistance. Keep up the great work, Braxton.


1/30/23 Our 6th grade Eagle Attitude winner this week is Laney Key. Laney is a very hard worker. She is always the first to volunteer to do something in class and always makes sure we get the lunch cards passed out. Laney’s homework is always complete and she tries her best on everything she does. Laney has a sweet personality and I enjoy having her in class.


1/30/23 - Our 5th Grade Eagle Attitude winner this week is Isabella Howard.
Isabella is so kind to everyone. She is willing to help her peers understand concepts by answering their questions. She holds the door open, picks up dropped items, and is always there to offer a helping hand. In class, she participates and brings deeper thinking into our lessons. Isabella always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude.


The BHJH Mobile Market partnered with Royal Donut to wish the staff at BHCUSD a happy ‘Royal Friday’! We were able to deliver donuts and drinks to all three buildings today! 💙





1/23/23 - Our 6th Grade Eagle Attitude Winner is Griffin Daulton.
We are proud of Griffin and his work ethic! The hard work pays off every day and is a reflection of his grades. He asks insightful questions and his participation in class has improved tremendously. Griffin’s peers and teachers see him as reliable, kind, and always willing to lend a hand. Nice Work!
