Attention 7th/8th grade girls!!
Mark your calendars for the BHJH Open House! Open House will be Monday, August 15th from 6:00-7:00 PM. Come take a tour of the building, check out your classrooms, meet your teachers, and organize your lockers. Don't forget to stop by and introduce yourself!!
Girls' 5th and 6th grade basketball begins this evening. Please meet in the Jr. High gym at 4:00 PM. Don't forget your $25 participation fee. We are still looking for a parent volunteer for the 5th grade team. Practice is 4:00-5:30 PM. See you soon!

We will begin our 5th and 6th grade girls' basketball season July 25th from 4:00-5:30 PM at the BHJH Gym. Practices will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00-5:30 PM until school begins.
If you have a 5th or 6th grade girl interested in playing basketball, please have them at our first practice on July 25th at 4:00 PM.
Ms. Jen Larson and Ms. Jennifer Siddens will be coaching the 6th grade team. If you are interested in coaching the 5th grade team please contact me at Lprunkard@bismarck.k12.il.us.

5/23/22 - 6th grade student of the week is Nickoli Moll. Nickoli is our final sixth grade student of the week for this school year. Nickoli always works hard on his assignments and at meeting his deadlines. Nickoli always adds conceptual thinking to classroom conversations. He is extremely approachable, always willing to help, and a great friend to his classmates. Thank you and have a fabulous summer Nico!
5/23/22 - 5th grade student of the week is Tinley Siddens. Tinley is always willing to help around the classroom. Whether it is running to pick up a copy, hand out papers, or help another student, Tinley is eager to complete the task. She always tries her best on assignment and works well with others. Thank you, Tinley, For being a great student this year !

5/16 - 8th grade student of the week is Anastasia Walton. Ana is a hard worker. She always turns in her homework, done completely, on time. She never complains about any of the work and she asks questions when she doesn’t understand something. She comes to class prepared everyday and is ready to work.
