Tinley Siddens - Tinley has gone out of her way to ensure our new students are welcomed and comfortable at BHJH. She has included them during lunch and has kept an extra eye out to ensure others are also being kind.
Ryker Dieu- Ryker displayed both kindness, inclusion & sincerity by allowing a student the oppurtunity to score at last nights ball game. (January 16th) This shows true sportsmanship and a caring heart. Rykers actions brought joy not only to the player but also to everyone in attendance, showcasing the positive impact of kindness off & on the court.

5th-8th grade Scholastic Bowl tryouts will be Tuesday, January 14th from 2:45pm-3:30pm in the BHJH library. If you are unable to attend due to another extra curricular activity but would still like to try out, please see Mrs. West or Mrs. Buyno prior to Tuesday.
Spelling Team tryouts will be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 7:40am in Mrs. Greene's classroom in the 5th/6th grade hallway.

We will be having our 5th grade D.A.R.E. graduation this coming Thursday, January 9th at 9:00 AM in the Jr. High gym. All the families of the graduates are invited to attend. Hope to see you there!

The BHJH 8th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Heather Lucero.
Heather is always actively engaged in class and takes excellent notes. She uses her note-taking skills to help peers when they do not understand the lesson. She is responsible and takes the initiative to get missed work during absences and make up the work in a timely manner.


The BHJH 7th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Layla Reardon.
Layla works hard in all of her classes. She takes ownership of her own learning, and she helps her peers. She is good at being a student before an athlete and brings positive energy to the classroom.


The BHJH 6th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Hattie Musson.
Hattie is working extremely hard in 6th grade this year. She is always prepared for class, completes assignments, turns them in on time, and studies the material. Hattie is an active participant in class and asks and answers questions consistently. She is kind and always willing to help. Thank you for being a model student Hattie!


The BHJH 5th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Zaiden Merrell.
Zaiden often mentions that he loves school, and he shows it. He is a hard worker, participates in all classes, helps other students, and always has a positive attitude. Zaiden is a student that staff and peers can depend on. Keep up the great work, Zaiden!
